Bugungu Wildlife Reserve is a prominent seasonal wetland manifested with Savannah, Afro-montane grassland Vegetation dominated by the thorny acacia tree species sighted at on the rocky rift valley escarpments penetrating the adjacent Murchison Falls National Park in the Western side.
